Chelmer Veterans CC was founded in 2012 by members from Margaretting,Stock and Woodham Mortimer Cricket Clubs.Chelmer Veterans Cricket Club is a midweek side who play genuine veterans cricket across the counties of Essex & Suffolk.The club was formed to cater for the growing interest in veterans cricket in the area. Home games are played at the picturesque village grounds of T Rippon Premier League sides,Stock CC and Rettendon CC and our away fixtures are played at top quality cricket club grounds (Billericay used by Essex 2nd XI and Galleywood to name but a few). Like any team,we are always looking for fixtures against any club who have a Veterans/Midweek or maybe an occasional eleven.We put out a Veterans team every week during the season.If your club is interested in a fixture please get in touch with our fixture secretary via the website.We have a large list of playing members but all are not available every week so we do from time to time when possible take on new players who are interested in playing for Chelmer Veterans.
