As the annual renewal of the Club's Public Liability Indemnity insurance falls due this week, it seemed an opportune moment to update all players with 'the basics'.

* All members are covered at practice sessions & matches for any injuries caused to others or for damages to property (subject to the usual disclaimers about due care, etc).

* All players are also covered at a very basic level for personal injury / accident to themselves (eg dental expenses to a maximum of £250, broken arm one-off payment of £150).

* There is however no cover for any consequent loss of income arising from a practice or match incident -- your Committee therefore strongly advise that all players consider making their own arrangements for income protection cover, etc dependent on their own personal circumstances.
