Match report The first ever win for CVCC Indoor side. Excellent all round performance by the team where everyone played their part. Mark set us up us with a nice 25 retired which Brian followed up with a mature indoor innings working the corners for a second retirement. With some quick contributions at the end by the tailenders and a healthy contribution from WMCC in the wides column meant we had a competitive 82 to defend. This should not have been enough but WMCC set off at a slow rate against some accurate bowling. Initially the captain Geoff decided to to mix up the bowling but with early break through's and tight bowling by Anand and Ted meant that it was an easy decision for the skipper to bowl them out. This is where the game as won as WMCC were well behind the rate and could never make up for lost ground. Great effort by Jones but in the end the pressure was too much and the game ended with a run out. Man of the Match was Anand Patil but great bowling by Ted and excellent efforts with the bat by Mark and Brian.
