Tight opening spells by Gregory & Baker restricted the visitors to 54-2 from the first 16 overs. Griffiths took two early wickets in his spell, & shortly after drinks Billericay were 79-4.
Robinson, Bartlett & Taylor offered the batsmen few scoring opportunities, conceding just 54 runs from their combined 16 overs.

CVCC began their innings needing to score at 3.8/over. Cory set off like the proverbial train, & the opening partnership amassed 120 before Cory retired after 20 overs. Stratton & Cooper then eased Chelmer Vets to victory with 86 balls to spare.
